Role- QA Engineer
Location - Hybrid - Remote / London (Victoria station)

Responsibilities
- To collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- To execute tests to identify software defects
- To develop and maintain automated test scripts
- To document and track defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues

Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Python).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Duties
- Collaborate with product managers and development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure product functionality.
- Perform regression testing to validate software changes and updates.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to streamline testing processes.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and contribute to the automation framework.
- Document and track defects, working closely with developers to prioritise and resolve issues.
- Provide detailed information on identified defects to assist in efficient resolution.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to understand system architecture and design in order to improve test coverage.
- Conduct performance testing to ensure software applications meet scalability and responsiveness requirements.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks.
- Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
