For the successful QHSE Manager our client is offering:
- £50,000 Per Annum
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00 pm
- Permanent Position

The role - QHSE Manager:
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 90001:2018 standards and collaborate with external entities regarding accreditation processes
- Establish, implement, and sustain processes essential for the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Collaborate with procurement personnel to define quality criteria for external suppliers and oversee their review and approval according to company standards
- Establish quality, environmental, and health and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with international and national manufacturing or production standards
- Develop quality procedures in collaboration with operational staff
- Oversee Risk Assessment registers and Construction Design Management
- Conduct Health & Safety inspections at all operational sites
- Ensure compliance with LOLER & PUWER legislation for work equipment
- Perform periodic fire risk assessments at operational sites
- Review and update company policies to comply with legislation
- Compile accident and incident data monthly, identifying areas for preventative action
- Implement a Safety Management System aligned with ISO 45001
- Maintain statistical data on non-conformance and engineering change notices
- Set annual QHSE objectives in accordance with ISO 9001:2015
- Ensure environmental legal compliance and manage environmental aspects and impacts
- Coordinate Health and Safety committee activities
- Maintain a training database for employees
- Establish and manage a plant calibration database
What our client is looking for in a QHSE Manager:
- 5 years of previous experience in a production/industrial engineering environment
- Exposure to both QA and QC procedures
- Lead accreditation process for ISO 9001:2008
- Maintain a company QMS system
- Ensure the company works within HSE legislation
- 3-5 years’ experience of monitoring HSE statistics and putting systems and procedures in place to improve them
