Management Accountant

About The Role

Antony James Recruitment Ltd are delighted to have partnered with a leading Financial institution based in Northwich in recruiting a Management Accountant. In this role will be working closely with the FC and team members in leading management reporting activities along with the provision of financial information, supporting the strategic and tactical day to day management of the business and its stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -

• Deliver regular management reporting to the Bank concerning its financial performance.
• Analyse and appraise the financial performance of the Bank against budgets and forecasts.
• Lead the production of the materials and analysis for the Bank's Assets and Liability Committee.
• Prepare performance review packs for the Bank's leadership on a periodic basis.
• Support the Finance Director and Deputy Finance Director with the preparation of the Bank's annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Provide financial modelling input and expertise into ICAAP, ILAAP and Recovery Plan processes.
• Ad hoc financial analysis to support the commercial activities of the Bank.
• Collaborate with the Financial Accountant to deliver management or financial reporting to the Bank as necessary.
• Assist the Regulatory Accountant with inputs and support on regulatory reporting.
• Provide knowledge and project input into the Bank's international development plans as requested especially as it concerns strategic and tactical financial planning.
• Manage the accounts payable and expense reimbursement processes.
• Provide day to day operational management of the Bank's petty cash and encashment processes.

• Budgeting & Accounting Knowledge
• Microsoft Office Systems Knowledge especially Excel and Word
• Processing & Procedural Knowledge
• Project Management Techniques

Person/Experience required:

• 4+ years relevant experience in Management Accounting
• Professional accountancy qualification or working towards
• 5/10 years general work experience.

Salary: Up to £40k to £45k

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Hybrid working after probation)

Northwich, Cheshire: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required
