Job Description – Testing & Inspection Sales Account Manager
Salary: £45,000 > £50,000 per year.
Bonus: £5,000 per year.

Overview
Altus Safety is a leading, national, working-at-height subcontractor specialising in permanent roof access & fall protection equipment.
Working closely with the directors and within a small, motivated team we’re seeking a qualified Account Manager to help with the continued growth of Altus Safety’s testing and inspection department. The ideal Account Manager has deep experience with the entire sales process, excelling at lead generation, relationship building, and deal closing. This is a business-to-business role selling into facility management and property management companies, councils, multi-site end users as well as large single sites such as universities.

Objectives, duties, and responsibilities·
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our testing and inspection services.
- Create and implement an effective outbound strategy to onboard new ‘key’ customers.
- Generate leads and nurture client relationships.
- Sourcing, completing, and submitting new tender opportunities.
- Conducting sales meetings with potential new customers.
- Processing sales to Altus Safety’s projects team for implementation.
- Work closely with a team of project coordinators to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Manage and develop existing key customers.
- Responsible for the testing and inspection department sales targets.
- Motivating a small sales team to achieve department goals.
Required skills and qualifications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Five or more years of experience in account management within a similar industry.
- Adept at using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and data.
- In-depth knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports
- Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing.
