We are seeking a Quality & Compliance Officer to join a dynamic Ringwood office, responsible for ensuring that all operations and business transactions adhere to pertinent legal, ethical, and internal regulations. The ideal candidate will be a reliable professional with previous experience working with risk management and always ensuring industries standards are met.

- 28,000 - 30,000 (DOE) per annum + performance bonuses.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective legal compliance program.
- Formulate and enforce effective internal controls while monitoring strict adherence to them.
- Draft and revise company policies to align with legal standards.
- Conduct proactive audits of processes, practices, and documents to identify and rectify weaknesses.
- Assess compliance risks associated with various business activities, such as investments.
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
- Develop crisis management plans for potential compliance violations.
- Provide education and training to employees on regulations and industry best practices.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries or concerns related to legal compliance.
- Stay updated on internal standards and align with overarching business goals.
- Generate comprehensive job reports for completed tasks.
- Conduct audits of engineers' work to ensure alignment with internal checklists and standards.
What we require from you:
- Demonstrated expertise as a Compliance Officer or Manager, or in a closely related role.
- Proficient in risk management practices.
- Familiarity with industry standards and professional best practices.
- Outstanding communication skills, with strong business acumen.
- Upholds integrity and professional ethics.
- Collaborative teamwork skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Confidence using Microsoft word, excel and handling PDF documents.
- Professional certification, such as Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) is desirable.
