Quality Assurance Officer (Care Sector)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Quality Assurance Officer will work as a key member of the iAspire Senior Management Team (SMT) ensuring that our organisation and services are fully compliant and exceed the required quality standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that compliance standards and safety regulations are observed
- Address and discuss issues and proposed solutions with the SMT.
- Document Quality Assurance activities and create audit reports.
- Make recommendations for improvement.
- Create training materials and operating manuals for provision managers.
KEY TASKS:
- Preparing and implementing Quality Assurance policies and procedures
- Performing routine monitoring inspections within the organisation
- Preparing and submitting monitoring inspection reports
- Identifying and resolving Quality Assurance issues
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS:
- Proven experience of management within the supported living sector
- Working knowledge of tools, methods, and concepts of Quality Assurance
- Solid knowledge of relevant compliance and regulatory standards
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills
- Strong diligence
The Quality Assurance Officer has many responsibilities, such as preparing Quality Assurance policies, performing routine inspections, and working with various teams to correct issues that arise in the production process. The Quality Assurance officer must have excellent attention to details since they need to identify and address quality and compliance issues within our organisation.
They also need to have good communication skills since they need to deliver vital information to different teams involved delivering robust care to our end users.
