Quality Engineer - Near Edinburgh (Hybrid) - To 45K + 15% Bonus
Our client, an established and growing Scottish success story who have improved the lives of millions of people across the globe already and still have sights on further additions to their well-needed, exciting product line, are on the lookout for a Quality Engineer with a background in Manufacturing and knowledge of relevant ISO standards to join their R&D function on a permanent basis.

You'll put your talents to good use across:
- Using your knowledge of Quality Assurance and standards to help the wider function produce and ensure a safe and compliant portfolio of life-improving devices
- Stay on top of regulatory standards and requirements and help weave them into/improve manufacturing processes wherever needed
- Take the reins on continuous improvement related projects; including analysing processes/throughput, flow mapping, and so on.
- QA reviews, and sign-offs of relevant documentation
- Interact with external partners including suppliers to ensure they're also playing their part where it comes to quality
- Identify, analyse and export relevant metrics aligning to compliance
- Owning and supporting internal and 3rd party auditing procedures
What they're looking for in you:
- Knowledge of ISO9001 and any other relevant standards applied in a manufacturing/similar setting
- Must have a good grasp and demonstrable track record in Continuous Improvement (Six Sigma / 5S / Kaizen Events / etc.)
- Understanding and ability to consider regulatory issues as you and the team operate
- Ability to identify areas for improvements and the drive to deliver them
- Ability to document effectively, and ideally an previous dealings with/exposure to auditing
