My client, who are a nationwide trade fabricator, are recruiting for an experienced Quality Manager to report directly to the Technical Manager.
This role is pivotal in ensuring product excellence, meeting both internal and external quality standards.
Quality Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Establish quality inspection procedures and protocols.
- Oversee operations affecting product quality.
- Lead and mentor the quality control team.
- Monitor and maintain production reliability and consistency.
- Liaise with customers to understand and meet their quality expectations.
- Identify and report production malfunctions, ensuring swift corrective actions.
- Analyze quality metrics to drive proactive solutions.
- Review and update quality standards and policies.
- Maintain comprehensive records of quality reports and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal standards.
- Monthly reporting on quality metrics, including COQ.
Quality Manager - Skills & Qualities:
- Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control.
- Proficiency in MS Office; adaptability to new software.
- Exceptional communication capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Positive, adaptable, and eager to learn.
- Strong interpersonal skills, fostering effective team interactions.
Quality Manager - Experience:
- Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
- Experience within the window industry (desirable)
