We have an exciting opportunity in Nottingham for aQuality Managerposition with a highly regulated manufacturing company, to play a significant part within the Quality function.
This role is a business critical role to help improve quality and streamline efficiency, as the business enters a key growth phase.
This role takes accountability for quality, whilst supporting the ongoing development of the ISO9100 and AS9100. It would suit an individual who is competent using core quality tools as techniques such as PPAP/FMEA and root cause analysis, from a highly regulated manufacturing background.
Responsibilities:
- Lead internal quality investigations initiated by both customer complaints and non-conformances, proposing corrective and preventive actions and managing to closure.
- Lead quality improvement projects to increase right first time rates, and reduce scrap rates
- Assist in the internal audit program, auditing processes and systems to ISO 9001 / AS9100 / NADCAP certification
- Represent the business while interacting with customers to resolve quality issues
- Assist with the communication of quality requirements throughout the company cross-functionally
- Managing all customer quality improvement initiatives
- Leading supplier quality assessments and improvement initiatives
Experience:
- Proven background in Quality, within highly regulated manufacturing
- Proven ability using quality core tools and techniques
- ISO9100 / AS9100 / NADCAP experience
- Confident, capable, and dynamic individual, with a keen eye for detail
