SalaryWorking on exciting and high-profile projects using the latest 4.0 technology our client is looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong understanding of contracts and commercial aspects to join their team.
What you’ll be do
- Manage commercial aspects of projects, including assessment, reporting, and cost evaluation.
- Coordinate with Pre-Contract team for smooth project transition and procurement of necessary resources.
- Review contracts, identify risks, and liaise with clients and construction professionals.
- Assess and manage commercial risks, place purchase orders, and oversee subcontractors.
- Ensure projects adhere to contractual standards, submit regular reports, and advise on claims/disputes.
- Plan commercial management activities, procure subcontractors, and manage defect liability processes.
- Provide support to the project team using your experience and skills.

What you’ll need
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying, contract review, and commercial management.
- Proficient in Sage accounting systems and job costing software such as Eque2 or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Strong communication skills, highly motivated with exceptional organisation and multitasking abilities; capable of suggesting improvements to company systems for enhanced performance.
