Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor seeking a challenging role with a leading structural engineering company based in Bromsgrove? We specialize in delivering high-quality engineering solutions to our clients and are currently expanding our dynamic team. Responsibilities:
- Conduct cost estimating, cost planning, and budgeting for construction projects.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, contracts, and variations.
- Perform cost analysis and offer value engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient cost management and project delivery.
- Generate detailed cost reports and cost forecasts.
- Review and negotiate subcontractor quotations.
- Monitor project costs in alignment with established budgets.
- Assist in contract administration and settlement of final accounts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, changes in legislation, and best practices related to cost estimating and quantity surveying.
Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- MRICS or similar professional qualification is desirable.
- Minimum of X years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
- Excellent knowledge of cost estimating, tendering, and procurement processes.
- Solid understanding of construction contracts and relevant legislation.
- Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office Suite.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize workload effectively.

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
