Role Overview:
- The role will provide access to a dedicated workforce to enhance your skills and understanding of quantity surveying within the context of groundworks and civil engineering for residential developments.
- No previous experience is required, but candidates must possess good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Trainees will be sponsored to attend university one day a week, with the remaining four days spent working in the office and on-site, applying classroom knowledge to real-world situations.
General Requirements of Quantity Surveyor:
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Proficiency in relevant software applications, such as Microsoft Excel and project management tools.
- Understanding of cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management principles.
Requirements:
- For Trainee: Three Grade C or above in A-Levels or equivalent qualifications. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid UK driving license.
- For Graduate: A minimum of a 2:1 or above in BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and must hold valid UK driving licence.
