Job Introduction
We are looking for a Reception and Events Coordinator to join our Rapport team. You will be based in our client’s building, which is less than six years old, with an incredible roof terrace that has panoramic views of the City of London. We operate and represent one of the largest American banks in the world, one of the Big Four Banks in the US, and stand as the corporate head office for EMEA.
We hold multiple events that can be anything from an external client engagement event to a DE&I network celebration and many wellbeing and interactive events. Within our event space, we have 14 rooms, most of which can be reconfigured with many moving walls to really open up the space. We also have an on-site restaurant that can double as an event space.
Although this is a Maternity Cover role (ideal start date: 22nd of April 2024), we are offering a full-time, permanent contract (40 hours per week). At the end of the maternity cover period, you will be working as part of the Rapport Network Team or alternative Rapport site. The service hours are from Monday to Friday, between 7 AM and 7 PM. Evening event coverage will be required on occasion. This role comes with fantastic additional benefits, non-contractual, such as daily breakfast and lunch in the restaurant.
The main responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:
- Managing reservations
- Setting up the events space
- Being first line of tech support
- Creating a warm welcome at the main Reception and client floor
- Using multiple systems for guests and event management
