Receptionist

Are you an experienced Receptionist looking to work for an established Charity? Are you passionate about working with vulnerable people in the community? Would you like to be the first point of contact on their journey to live independently?

I am looking to recruit an adept Receptionist with a passion and drive for working in the housing/not-for-profit sector. If you have experience similar to this, that's even better!

This is a Temp to Perm opportunity and will be temporary for a duration of around 4 months before being considered for a permanent role. This is to cover secondment in the team so you will be working with already established team and a dedicated manager who will be happy to show you the ropes and support you as needed.

As the Receptionist, you will carry out a range of duties, some of which are:

- Be the first point of contact for all residents and visitors offering a high level of customer service with a welcoming environment

- Carry out admin duties as required, such as answering calls, handling and inputting data and receiving and responding to emails and letters.

- Offering support and signposting visitors to the correct team/point of contact to ensure their query is resolved in a prompt manner

- Managing challenging circumstances and remaining calm during these situations

- Supporting the central office functions with general office and admin tasks

- Being conversant with all security and emergency procedures within the building and also making visitors or residents aware of this as and when needed

There is so much more to this role and it is a truly rewarding opportunity for the right candidate. This role would be suitable for someone who is happy to work on a shift pattern basis and has the flexibility to offer cover for permanent staff member absence.

Shifts are 2 x early (8:00-16;30), 2 x late (12:30-21:00), 2 days off, on a rolling rota. The rota will also include working some weekend days accordingly.

You will need a DBS check to be considered for this role.

The hourly pay rate ranges from 13.75 to 14.50 per hour Umbrella. Dependant on experience.

The permanent starting salary for this vacancy is 20,171 per annum.
