Job overview
This vacancy is for full time, Monday to Friday 9 to 5.
The Trust is looking for a flexible and enthusiastic two full time Reception Administrators to join our friendly and welcoming Adults Assessment and Treatment Service. The team is based in New Park House in Horsham.
We believe this offers far greater opportunity for individuals to develop a much broader set of skills and to experience a more varied role. As such, the post-holder will work within the Reception/Admin team, sharing a range of duties that support the running of the overall Assessment and Treatment Service and other services also working in New Pak House. This role is varied, fast paced and very rewarding and involves contact with patients and carers both on the phone and in person. The successful applicant should have excellent customer service skills, good attention to detail and be flexible to cover their share of holiday and sickness when required. NHS reception experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Good communication skills are essential together with the ability to deal sensitively with people who may be distressed at times and patiently when trying to co-ordinate multiple busy diaries.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
In order to be a successful Team Secretary in our team you will have:
  • A relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification / RSA 3 or equivalent
  • Experience in a Administration role or relevant administration experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience of working within a physical or mental health care setting. Not essential.

It would also be advantageous if you:
  • Have experience of working with or within NHS
  • Are familiar with the use of Carenotes

  • NVQ 3 or equivalent
