Our client, a prestigious private equity firm, is seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist to join the team. Initially, this is a temporary contract, but there is a strong possibility for it to become a permanent position.
Hours: 9am-2pm (with a 30-minute lunch break) - there is flexibility on these hours, and they could be extended to 9am-3pm or 9am-4pm.
Pay Rate: Up to £18 per hour DOE
Location: Offices close to St James's Park

As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and staff.
Key Responsibilities Include (But Are Not Limited To):
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or meeting room.
- Answer and screen all incoming phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via email/phone.
- Receive, manage, and distribute daily post and deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and managing access to the building.
- Order office supplies and groceries.
- Restock pantries and fridge items.
- Update and manage meeting room calendars.
- Arrange ad hoc travel for visitors.
- Keep updated records of office expenses and process office expenses via SAP Concur.
- Perform clerical duties such as printing and scanning.
Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Office Representative, or similar role.
- Experience in Financial Services, ideally Private Equity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Outlook).
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Positive can-do attitude.
- Solid communication skills.
- Proactivity.
- Multitasking and time-management skills.
