Responsibilities of a School Receptionist:

• Greeting and welcoming students, parents, and visitors with a warm and professional demeanour.
• Managing incoming phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff members.
• Maintaining accurate student attendance records and assisting with student sign-in/out processes.
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and other correspondence.
• Assisting with general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Answering inquiries from parents and providing them with necessary information.
• Monitoring school security and ensuring the safety of students and staff.
• Assisting in organising school events and coordinating appointments for school staff.
