A vacancy for a part time Receptionist/Administrator to join our friendly reception team.
We would like to recruit someone who is friendly, confident, a good team player and competent using a computer. We use EMIS and DOCMAN and ideally the candidate should have experience working with these systems, however candidates with strong customer service experience will be considered. This role involves using a computer the majority of the time. The role will be a mixture of Reception cover and associated administrative tasks as well as being part of the Admin team.
It is essential that candidates are able to cover shifts between 07h30 to 18h30 Monday to Friday.
The post also requires 2 satisfactory references and a DBS check to be completed. Applicants must be fluent in English (Read, Write and Speech) and must be entitled to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).

JOB DESCRIPTION – RECEPTIONIST/ADMINISTRATOR
REPORTING TO: Reception Manager
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Finance and Operations Manager
WORKING HOURS: 20-30 hours per week. Am shifts are 7.45AM-12.45PM and PM shifts are 12.30PM-6.30PM
PAY RATE: £11.02 per hour plus generous NHS Pension Contribution
KEY TASKS:
Receive patients in a friendly, helpful manner directing them through use of the patient call system.
Answering the telephone and booking in appointments for patients, according to their need and with the appropriate health care professional, as per protocol.
Accurately maintain patients' basic demographic data on computer.
Convey results of tests and investigations to patients discreetly and confidentially, according to current protocol.
Respond to all enquiries from, or relating to our patients, or other visitors, in a sensitive and helpful manner, where necessary after consulting with a doctor.
Pass accurate and timely messages to the doctors and other members of the Primary Health Care Team.
PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
· Ensure all mandatory training is current in line with the practice training matrix
