The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and reception support to the hostel. This is a 4-month temporary position with the possibility of becoming permanent. The ideal candidate will have previous reception and administration experience and preferably have worked in the homeless and housing sector.Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the hostel
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area
- Assist with general office duties as required
Person Specification
- Previous reception and administration experience
- Experience working in the homeless and housing sector is desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Must have a current DBS
- Flexibility to cover permanent staff absence
