Job Description:

As a Receptionist with a sales-focused approach, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency and performance of our reception area. You will work with a team of receptionists to create a welcoming environment for patients while actively promoting dental services, encouraging treatment plan acceptance, and increasing revenue through effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Engagement: Ensure patients are greeted warmly, professionally, and promptly, making them feel valued and comfortable.

Sales Strategy: Implement sales strategies to promote dental services, encourage additional treatments, and enhance the patient experience.

Appointment Scheduling: Optimize appointment scheduling for maximum patient flow and dentist productivity.

Financial Counselling: Explain treatment plans, fees, and financing options to patients, assisting them in making informed decisions.

Customer Service: Address patient inquiries, concerns, and issues with empathy, maintaining a high standard of professionalism.

Billing: Payment processing, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Reporting and Analysis: Generate and analyse reports on daily activities and sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and proposing effective solutions.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; some college education or related coursework is a plus.

Proven sales background, with experience in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in dental management software, scheduling, and billing procedures would be advantageous.

Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is advantageous.

Payment plans, and billing processes.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information responsibly.
