Reconciliation Accountant

We are currently working in partnership with a Housing Association based in Leicestershire, who are recruiting for a Reconciliation Accountant on a temporary 2-month basis, with the strong possibility of extension.

The position is due to start immediately, and the hourly rate is up to £25 via an umbrella company.

The role will require commuting 1 day per week to the Leicestershire office, with 4 days working from home.

The ideal candidate will be a proficient user of Excel and familiar with the finance system Oracle. A background in Assistant Accounting in the housing sector or larger organisations is preferred.

Duties will include (but are not limited to):

• Identifying, investigating and resolving any errors within balance sheets
• Taking ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
• Working with wider business and suppliers
• Liaising company wide and correctly updating balance sheets
• Assisting inyear-end audit preparation

Experience required:

• Extensive reconciliation experience
• Assistant Accountant background
