Job description

Our client are a large busy organisation based near Fullwell are looking for a Recruitment Administrator to join them on initially a 6 months contract. There is a chance the role will become permanent. We are looking for someone confident and enthusiastic to join a successful, busy and a friendly team.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITES

To provide administrative support to the Recruitment & Training team, ensuring that candidates receive the highest standards of customer service.

Working 37.5 hours per week. Preferably wanting someone to start 8:00am but the role can be either 8-4 or 9-5.

JOB DETAILS

  • Liaise with internal and external key stakeholders.
  • First point of contact for candidate queries and applications by telephone, email and in person
  • Prepare offer letters and employment contracts for checking & signing.
  • Prepare New Starter payroll lists and collate required documents
  • Assist with Medical arrangements with candidates and Doctor
  • Process reference requests and responses, DBS (ex-CRB) applications and Right to Work checks, referring queries or complex matters to a more senior member of the team.
  • Ensure all recruitment materials have the correct Company branding and of a high standard.
  • Invigilate recruitment & training tests
  • Assist with the preparation and administration for open days, recruitment fairs and assessment centres.
  • Any other day to day administration required to support.
  • Adhoc Manage external Agency bookings

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Proven experience of working in a busy recruitment administration role undertaking activities such as reference checks and data entry of candidate details
  • Attention to detail: You will need to be meticulous in your approach to recruitment, as even small errors can have significant consequences.
  • Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with candidates, hiring managers, and other stakeholders throughout the recruitment process.
  • Time management: You will need to be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work efficiently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Organisational skills: Strong organisational skills are crucial to maintaining accurate records, managing schedules, and coordinating recruitment activities effectively.
  • Adaptability: Recruitment is a dynamic field that requires flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Interpersonal skills: You will need to be able to build rapport with candidates and stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve recruitment objectives.
  • Problem-solving skills: You will need to be able to identify and solve problems quickly and effectively, whether they relate to candidate screening, scheduling, or other aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Technology skills: You should be comfortable working with recruitment software, databases, and other technology tools to manage recruitment processes and data.
  • Confidentiality: You will need to maintain strict confidentiality around sensitive information, including candidate resumes and personal information. Knowledge of employment laws: A good understanding of employment laws and regulations is important to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
