Recruitment consultants required to work with our specialist recruitment team. You will be responsible for attracting candidates for jobs, training programmes and apprenticeship vacancies. Matching them to training leading to interviews with local employers for temporary or permanent positions.
You'll build positive relationships
with people to in order to gain a better understanding of their circumstances, employment and skills requirements.
You will attract candidates through advertising campaigns and copy for use in a range of media, and through referrals. You'll screen candidates, interview them, run background checks and finally match them to clients.
You also provide advice, training requirements and career opportunities.

Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companiesVisiting clients to build and develop positive relationshipsDeveloping a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environmentadvertising vacancies by drafting and placing adverts in a range of media, such as newspapers, websites and magazinesUsing social media to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationshipsHeadhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in workUsing candidate databases to match the right person to the client's vacancyReceiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the clientRequesting references and checking the suitability of applicants before submitting their details to the clientBriefing the candidate about the responsibilities, salary and benefits of the jobPreparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicantsOrganising interviews for candidates as requested by the clientInforming candidates about the results of interviewsNegotiating pay and salary rates and finalising arrangements between clients and candidatesOffering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progressionWorking towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generatedReviewing recruitment policies to ensure effectiveness of selection techniques and recruitment programmes.Salary: Depending upon experience
