Whilst we are open to applications from various experience levels, the ideal candidate will have previous exposure to business development, sales, account management or will have worked in a fast-paced target driven environment.
The role:
You will be working within our Manchester branch as a pivotal member of the team, sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to assess key competencies that meet the specification of our client. You will also develop exceptional relationships with clients to bring on new business. You will be enrolled onto our industry recognised 16-week training programme where you will learn the foundation and advanced skills/knowledge needed to become a successful recruiter with Pertemps.
- Attending clients’ meetings, acting as a Pertemps brand ambassador, and providing a consultative approach
- Sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of permanent vacancies
- Understanding candidates career aspirations and building relationships
- Advertising roles and also pro-actively searching for candidates via job boards and social media channels
- Carrying out competency-based virtual interviews
- Bringing on new clients and nurturing and maintaining existing client relationships
To be a successful Commercial Recruitment Consultant you will have the following skills and experience:
- You'll need loads of energy, the ability to think on your feet and work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.
- Capable of holding business conversations with qualified individuals to understand their business.
- Skilled at understanding the career aspirations of the candidate pool.
- Confident in offering innovative recruitment solutions to your clients.
- Able to demonstrate strong business acumen in order to capitalise on opportunities.
- Can demonstrate networking skills and who prides themselves in developing their knowledge of the market in which they operate.
- You'll be willing to learn, interested in Pertemps excellent training opportunities and putting all your skills into practice.
- Ideally you will have experience in the sales, customer service and / or previous recruitment experience.
