About the Role:
You will play a crucial role in spearheading and growing our Search division, catering to existing group clients and new customers throughout the UK. Typical roles will be Director level and Heads of Department within the construction and civil engineering sector.
The role will be based from our Glasgow HQ (G4 0LA) and offers hybrid home working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish our Search division, working closely with the Managing Director to grow our brand as a prominent player across the UK Construction & Civil Engineering Markets.
- Understand the operational infrastructure to manage the recruitment process efficiently, including applicant tracking systems and screening and interviewing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal requirements and regulations, including employment laws and data protection regulations.
- Cultivate strong relationships with existing group company clients by delivering exceptional service, understanding their unique needs, and presenting the finest talent available in the market. Repeat business and referrals will be crucial for company growth and success.
- Develop a strong brand identity that resonates with construction clients, leveraging your network and group connections to increase awareness and attract potential new clients.
- Utilise your industry expertise to identify and recruit top talent in the construction field, fostering relationships with trade associations, attending industry events, and using online platforms to connect with potential candidates.
- Leverage existing network and contacts within the construction industry, participating in industry conferences, networking events, and targeted outreach to construction companies, contractors, and developers.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving recruitment practices, continuously adapting strategies to stay ahead of the competition and provide innovative solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a successful billing recruiter, ideally within construction, engineering or manufacturing.
- Experience of working on senior management positions, liasing with business owners and key stakeholders.
- Customer centric mindset who understands the importance of long term relationships.
- Strong understanding of the commercial aspects of a recruitment business.
