About the role:

The Recruitment Manager reports to Head of HR Operations (Shipboard), leading a team to deliver our global recruitment plan for shipboard retail roles. You will do this through shaping our talent identification and recruitment processes to deliver great crew for our onboard teams. The role is key to ensuring Harding+ attract, assess, and ultimately select the right talent to support our business objective and purpose to 'make every cruise better'.

The role is based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis - 2/3 days per week.

Compensation - competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown), staff product purchase scheme (luxury duty free retail)

What you will be doing:

• Overall responsibility for the end-to-end recruitment process for all volume roles on board, including Managers, Specialists (Watches, Fine Jewellery, Beauty, Liquor), and Sales Associates
• Create plans to meet current, upcoming, and future onboard recruitment needs, working in close partnership with HR BP's, Scheduling & Onboarding Manager and Retail Operations
• Develop and refine our 'go to market' recruitment channel plan to meet the agreed requirements
• Lead the Volume Recruitment team of internal recruiters, setting goals and objectives
• Drive team performance through regular 1-2-1's, coaching, feedback, goal setting, and recognition
• Manage performance effectively by identifying talent and supporting team development
• Manage relationships with external recruitment agents globally
• Manage and optimise the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) ensuring highest levels of data quality
• Oversee the volume recruitment budget, ensuring costs are managed in line with expectations
• Improve the time to hire, cost per hire, candidate experience, and quality of hire into the business
• Develop and promote our Harding+ 'employer brand' proposition

About you:

• Experience in managing and recruiting into high volume retail, hospitality, or similar sectors
• Substantial experience in commercially focused internal recruitment operations
• Development and implementation of recruitment approaches and plans
• Demonstrable experience of driving and implementing improvements to recruitment processes
• Line management experience - sets and drives excellent people performance
• Highly proactive initiative-taker - thrives on setting an agreed course, and driving through to completion at pace
• Structured planning, organisation, and time management skills
• Resilient, calm under pressure, and emotionally intelligent
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK
