About the Role:
Join our team as a Refurbishment Team Leader and take charge of a dynamic team responsible for orchestrating the renovation and maintenance of crucial medical and telecare equipment. Your role involves supervising and guiding a small team of dedicated staff and overseeing the day-to-day planning to ensure a seamless operation.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the day-to-day refurbishment operations in your department.
- Provide leadership and management for your team including recruitment, mentoring and performance management.
- Ensure that a high-quality service is delivered and workloads are completed within deadlines.
- Respond to escalated customer complaints and enquiries with an efficient and customer focused approach.
- Support the Service Manager to deliver the significant and exciting change programme that GIS Healthcare is undergoing.
We have two new 12-month Fixed Term Contract positions based at GIS Healthcare in Mitcheldean, Forest of Dean.

About You:
We are looking for someone who has experience leading and managing a team. The ideal candidate will have:
- Passion, a great attitude, and cares about making a difference.
- Experience as a manager with a background in production or warehousing.
- Experience of line management, supervision, delegation, and performance assessment.
- Experience in administration and using administrative management systems.
- Customer focused business planning and delivery.
- The ability to work under pressure and deal positively with stressful situations.
- The ability to solve problems, think on their feet and make decisions quickly to keep the operation running.
