Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: 33,000

Summary:
At Bis Henderson, we are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join a leading retailer. The role focuses on leading the inbound team, managing the throughput of work and maintain high levels of productivity, ensuring that deliveries are processed in line with agreed SLAs. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading a team of over 15 people, in an ecommerce environment, with excellent communication skills and a knowledge of warehouse operations, including stock management.
This role works on a Monday - Friday rotating shift pattern, 06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and motivating the team as well as holding a thorough understanding of forecasts and budgets and making sure all deliveries are processed within the agreed SLA.
Coordinating the work of the team, setting targets and monitoring performance ensuring the department delivers in line with business requirements, service levels and all KPI's are achieved, highlighting delays and issues.
Ensuring all processes are adhered to, including health and safety, quality, and security procedures
Conducting regular team meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team
Providing feedback and coaching to team members to ensure continuous improvement and development
Liaising with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of work
Experience:
Previous experience as an Inbound Team Leader or similar role, leading a team of over 15 people
Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience managing formal HR processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good knowledge of warehouse operations, including stock management and health and safety procedures.
