Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will work closely with Partners, management team and key stakeholders to build their people capability, plan and manage talent and develop approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives. You will act as the point of people expertise for your business area and will be the local people expert implementing specific people approaches which have been designed by a central specialist people team or centre of excellence. This role will work closely with the wider HR teams of HR Services, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to a minimum Level 5 CIPD with a proven track record of managing complex employee relations case resolution as well as talent management and delivering engagement strategies. You will be able to combine your personable and communicative nature to all employees within the Azets family, whilst delivering succinct and decisive input where necessary. Excellent working knowledge of UK employment law and previous Business Partnering exposure at all levels is essential for the role. Keen to take the next steps in your journey?

Key accountabilities

The Key responsibilities can be summarised as:
•    Establishes a thorough understanding of each office, its goals, opportunities, and challenges, and uses this with their people expertise (plus any people data), to identify, develop, agree and deliver an office People Plan that is aligned to the business objectives and overarching People Plan.
•    Delivers a Business Partnering service that influences and builds relationships with Partners and line managers, whilst also acting as a trusted partner and a coach.
•    Works with the Talent Acquisition team to support their strategies to effectively attract and recruit talent 
•    Supports and manages the talent profile of employees within the business, including critical roles, succession planning and organisational design
•    Works with the Talent Development team to identify training needs across the offices and practical learning solutions, which may include the delivery of.
•    Acts as a local point of people expertise for specialist teams that are implementing new people approaches
•    Actively participates in project teams and effectively implement people initiatives, ensuring that key deliverables are met within specified timelines.
•    Coaches and provides feedback to key stakeholders to help improve business efficiency and productivity.
•    Questions and challenges others to get to the root of people and business issues
•    Through the proactive utilisation of MI / data, identifies key areas to drive improvement in people processes and activities.
•    Works closely with Partners to strengthen the Company culture and values and employee experience by improving employee engagement and retention.
•    Coaches Partners and line managers on performance management processes and remuneration practices
•    Work closely with HR services to roll out regional initiatives

Skills & experience

Experienced HR generalist / HR Business Partner, ideally experience in a professional services environment.
