Regional Manager

About this role: The International Office (IO) are responsible for supporting student recruitment from around the world by providing relevant and up-to-date information around our course structures, entry and admissions, working collaboratively with our partners, agent networks, schools and students directly. Working with wider University services and the faculty, the IO will plan, implement and deliver a range of events and activities both in the UK and overseas to ensure the University meets its international student recruitment targets. As Regional Manager for the Americas you will work as a member of the management team within the International Office, reporting to the Head of International Student Recruitment and Admissions, taking responsibility for delivery of the university’s international strategy within the region.  The primary purpose of this role is to develop and manage the recruitment channels of a specific region and delivering against recruitment targets.  This includes sourcing opportunities for the delivery of teaching overseas and development of applied research as well as more conventional recruitment to UWE, Bristol. About you: Excellent communication skills are critical and you will be able to demonstrate the ability to present confidently both externally and with a wide range of stakeholders, understand a variety of viewpoints, resolve difficult issues and tailor your approach in a way that is relevant to a particular audience. You will be proactive and enjoy working as part of a team and confident in decision making and identifying new opportunities. This role includes line management of an International Officer who is responsible for supporting you with the delivery of events and activities and recruitment in the region.
