Registered Mental Health Nurse

Strength Point is recruiting for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to work at a established Mental Health Hospital based in London. Supporting clients with severe and complex Mental Health needs.

Responsibilities:

• Protecting and supporting the health of individual patients/residents.
• Conducting assessments of care and health education needs.
• Developing, implementing, and evaluating programs of care, including discharge planning for each patient.
• Under supervision, gaining experience and skills in clinical practice, facilitation, teaching, and management.
• Assuming leadership of the ward/department/unit in the absence of senior nursing staff, following performance review.
• Adopting a flexible approach to hours of duty to meet the service's needs over a 24-hour period.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 months of UK nursing experience and the legal right to work in the UK.
• Valid nursing license (NMC PIN).
• Maybo trained
• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Ability to explain treatments and conditions effectively.
• Working knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations.
• Relevant Nursing Diploma or Qualification.
• DBS Page 1 & 2 (Consent to apply).

Pay: £24.00-£29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 45 per week
