Tezlom are looking for passionate Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) and Learning Disability Nurses (RNLD) with a drive for providing excellent, professional, and effective care. Responsibilities:
As one of our nursing team, you will be playing a pivotal role within the hospital, not only as a care professional, but also as a mentor and guide to our excellent team of support workers. The role encompasses many different responsibilities, including, but not limited to:
- Ensuring patient centered care plans are developed, implemented, evaluated and recorded.
- Working collaboratively as Primary Nurse within the multidisciplinary team, including liaising with associated professionals and other agencies.
- Facilitating daily hospital activities.
- Ensuring effective communication with service users, carers, visitors, and staff.
- Implementing effective use of the Mental Health act where necessary.
- Maintain a learning environment.
- Assist with the development and /or revision of local policies and procedures as necessary.
Essential Skills:
- Therapeutic rapport
- Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Learning Disability)
- Knowledge of mental health act, mental capacity act and associated legislation.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
- Experience of working in a psychiatric hospital or large nursing home
- A good understanding and experience of service user’s diagnoses, treatment and recovery
- Good IT Skills – must be able to document/report service-user care records and incidents accurately on mobile devices and computer
- A positive ‘can do’ attitude and a team player able to work in an adaptive way to a dynamic environment.

Training
We’re proud to provide an in-house training programme of up to 11 annual classes that will prepare you for your any eventuality. You will undergo a paid e-learning course, as well as a 5-day training programme (also paid) to equip you with everything you need to get started. After-which your continued development will be tailored to you, and the needs of the client.

Salary: £38,000.00-£46,000.00 per year
