Night Registered Veterinary Nurse
Location: North Downs Specialist Referrals
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 30 per week on average. Shifts are 8pm - 8am, on a rota of 5 nights on (Monday to Friday) and 9 nights off.
Salary: From - £31,500 depending on experience

Our team consists of over 60 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and 31 recognised specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.

Your role and responsibilities
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced RVN to join our well-established and supportive practice. A successful candidate will work solely overnight between the hours of 8 pm - 8 am, on a rota of 5 nights on and 9 nights off. You will be working alongside a supportive team of fellow RVNs, nursing assistants and a Veterinary Surgeon, for an average 30-hour week.
We do not provide emergency cover overnight, outside of our own registered patients; therefore, the care is focused on our inpatients
You do not need to have previous referral experience to be considered for this position, all that we ask is that you are at least 1 year qualified. A supportive induction period will be given to ensure you feel settled within the team and your new working environment.
