Removals Driver/Porter

Job description

You will be required to work as part of a team, packing and moving household furniture and contents to customer’s new property or into storage.

Daily responsibilities and Duties Working with a team, a typical day may include:

• Picking and loading the required equipment and materials.

• Driving safely to the customer’s property.

• Checking with the customer which items are to be moved.

• Packing customer’s contents into boxes (training will be provided).

• Driving to the new location, unloading and placing the contents where the customer would like them.

• Ensure the vehicles are tidy and ready for the next day.

Requirements:

• Physically strong & fit.

• The ability to / learn to safely load vehicles.

• Honest and responsible attitude to customer's property.

• Confidence in dealing with customers. • Reliable with excellent time keeping.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Salary: £110.00-£125.00 per day

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

• Performance bonus
• Tips

Experience:

• driving: 5 years (required)
