We are looking for a Renewables Contract Manager to work for a renewable s client in Stoke
About the company: Our client provides their customers with a wide variety of services including build adaptations, heating and insulation, sales and lettings, new builds and renewable energy solutions. They are aggressively attacking the renewables sector & the decarbonisation of domestic properties. The Government have set aside billions of pounds to install energy saving boilers, renewables and installation of insulation to prevent heat loss in properties. The client has secured GBP100 million of funding over the next 4 years to deliver these products.
About the role: You ll be required to manage the on-site operational resources (people & supply chains) to implement the delivery plan for the assigned project safely, on time, to the required quality, whilst maintaining customer satisfaction. You ll also be expected to answer questions from engineers on site installing Air source heat pumps and other renewable measures to ensure jobs are completed to standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- To support achieving the planned delivery on time.
- To manage, implement and ensure compliance with established policies and procedures and legislative requirements for functional project governance.
- To deliver works, right first time to the client, communicating with the customer and operatives on a regular basis.
- Ensure that appropriate & adequate site records, install evidence and certs are collected.
- Manage, control and monitor the use of all resources including subcontractors to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- To manage a safety culture that meets the aspirations of zero accidents and incidents.
- All duties and responsibilities should be carried out in accordance with agreed policies and procedures.
Skills and expertise:
- A good level of interpersonal skills is required for this position.
- IT competence in Excel, Word etc.
- Ability to be flexible with working hours and willing to work outside normal working hours to maintain site safety and security.
- Willingness to use information, data technology and improve performance on the project.
- Responsible to maintain current and appropriate qualifications and undertake training and development when appropriate to maintain these qualifications.
- Ability to be able to travel within local area and on a regional / national basis as and when required.
