Position Overview:

As a Rent Recovery Officer, you will play a crucial role in the property management team by overseeing rent collections, managing delinquent accounts, and implementing effective strategies to recover outstanding rental payments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in debt recovery, possess excellent communication skills, and be adept at building positive relationships with tenants.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage tenant accounts to ensure timely rent payments
• Implement effective strategies for Rent Recovery and debt resolution
• Communicate with tenants regarding outstanding balances and negotiate payment plans
• Collaborate with legal and financial teams to escalate unresolved cases
• Conduct thorough investigations to assess the financial situations of tenants
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all Rent Recovery activities
• Provide regular reports to management on the status of Rent Recovery efforts

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Rent Recovery, debt management, or a related field
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to rental properties
• Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
