Our client is at the forefront of developing cutting-edge products, particularly focusing on Molecular and Immunoassay Diagnostics. They are currently seeking to recruit a dedicated Research Assistant/Scientist to join their R&D and project team. The individual will contribute to the development of lateral flow assays for third-party collaborations and internal product advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and assist in the development of lateral flow assays, with a focus on Molecular and Immunoassay Diagnostics.
- Demonstrate proficiency in the design and development process of lateral flow assays, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions.
- Investigate novel methods for reagent deposition and drying into matrices for lateral flow and laminate-based diagnostic devices.
- Proactively identify and address technical issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Prepare and present data analysis using tools such as Excel and other statistical packages.
- Maintain compliance with ISO:9001 and ISO13485 standards by adhering to relevant procedures.
- Develop and document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for laboratory methods, procedures, and instrumentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a life science or relayed discipline.
- Previous experience in immunoassays and molecular diagnostic assays is essential.
- Strong understanding of lateral flow assay design and development processes.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and well-organized with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
