Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. We know that homelessness is not inevitable. We know that together we can end it.

It’s a great time to join the Impact, Research and Practice Team. We are a new team in the Policy and Social Change Directorate combining the insight of research and evaluation, with the evidence base of best practice, using our joint expertise to evidence impact in ending homelessness.     

Title: Research & Evaluation Manager 

Salary: £48,442 per annum              

Contract: Permanent  

Hours: 35 per week  

Location: London office (Working from home is an option in line with Crisis’ Hybrid Working policy) 

About the role 

As Research and Evaluation manager you will be part of a team focussed on building evidence and insight within Crisis and more widely, in order to demonstrate what will have the most impact in ending homelessness.   You’ll lead a team of research and evaluation officers to deliver research and evaluation projects, scrutinise data and stats and apply the learning to drive change. You’ll commission and manage research and evaluation projects for internal and external partners.    You contribute to evidence driving change around homelessness which works to end homelessness and not manage it.      

About you 

To be successful in this role you will have 

·       Experience of designing, conducting and applying research projects around social justice issues  

·       Experience of externally commissioning and managing research projects  

·       Experience of qualitative and quantitive data analysis    

·       Experience of managing teams across disciplines   

You may have experience in; Project management, working with people with lived experience of homelessness
