Residential Development - Surveyor

We're happy to offer you an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as a Residential Development – Surveyor. This is a full time, permanent position that will be based from one of our regional offices, with national travel as required. You'll enjoy a standard work week Monday to Friday from 9.00am-5.30pm.  

Let’s talk about the role, it involves: 

• Underwriting for a broad range of Residential property assets undertaking site visits, desktop valuation and pricing (sales and rental values; aggregate and investment values) 
• Conduct detailed market research and analysis to support development appraisals, pricing studies, and disposal option reports 
• Prepare high-quality presentations, and marketing materials for internal and external use. Collation and production of data rooms  
• Maintain and develop strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored advice and regular campaign feedback 
• Assist with managing projects from inception to completion both internally and externally

We're looking for individuals with obvious qualities such as: 

• The relevant candidate will demonstrate a proactive and enthusiastic approach with a willingness to learn and a ‘get stuff done’ mentality 
• Some form of experience within Residential Development; Agency including New Homes or Resales, Valuation or Capital Markets would be advantageous 
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail 
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Powerpoint, Excel particularly 
• Ability to work both independently and as a Team Player 
• A degree in Real Estate, Planning would be advantageous 
• MRICS or on way to qualification would be advantageous  
• Some experience with Property software (land and market research packages) would be advantageous 
• Must be willing to travel nationally, own car would be a plus 
• A genuine interest in the sector and a desire to build a career within Property
