Residential Support Worker - Enfield

Your new company
Our client is a national charity that runs a number of support services across the UK, to support the needs of vulnerable children and young people. They currently require full-time staff to support young people at their residential home based in Enfield.
Your new role
The main purpose of the job is to work directly with the young people to help them achieve their goals, in accordance with the organisation's polices and procedures. You would be required to assist with routine household chores, as well as provide personal care for the young people, and assist them to take part in activities within the community.
What you'll need to succeed
We would expect all applicants to have at least 1 year of relevant children's residential experience, or be able to demonstrate transferable experience of supporting children/young people with challenging behaviours.
A Level 3 Diploma for Residential Childcare would be beneficial, or a willingness to complete the course in future.
