Salary Range: £26,873 - £29,269 (Grade G)
Location: Hybrid working (office base County Hall, Northallerton)

Resourcing Solutions are North Yorkshire Council’s dedicated Resourcing specialist and are definitely not a standard, traditional recruitment team. We are a flexible, professional in-house recruitment service, offering hybrid working, which enables us to support North Yorkshire Council and our partners effectively. Due to our fantastic reputation, we have enjoyed extensive growth to date. As a large and growing team, we have a diverse workload and can discuss further with you the opportunities available.
As a Recruitment Officer you will provide expert advice and guidance to candidates and hiring managers regarding all matters relating to the recruitment journey. This will include working alongside the wider Resourcing Solutions team whilst also taking ownership over your own day to day workload and responsibilities. You will be a specialist for all recruitment and resourcing queries. You will build excellent working relationships with stakeholders, working effectively with partners and colleagues to deliver a high quality, efficient service, leading compelling recruitment campaigns to secure outstanding talent.
Along with supporting our North Yorkshire Council Managers with their recruitment needs, we have a dedicated specialist Adult Social Care recruitment team, who work closely with care providers building positive relationships in order to gain a good understanding of their recruitment needs. You will use modern, multi-channel attraction techniques including social media, networking and recruitment events. You will assess candidates’ values, skill and abilities to match them to your clients’ vacancies. Through your recruitment advice and guidance you influence your clients’ approach and recruitment outcomes. Your engaging and personalised approach with candidates sees you providing detailed information about the hiring organisation, preparing them for interview, and supporting them through clearance and offer stage with their new employer.

To be successful as a Recruitment Officer you will:
- Have previous client management experience with the ability to influence decision making
- Have experience being a subject matter expert and using your knowledge to advise appropriately on a wide range of issues
- Have had experience dealing with a high volume of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to work successfully with stakeholders at a various levels
- Have problem solving skills, using your initiative to create a bespoke solution for your stakeholders
- Have experience in providing an excellent level of customer service
- Have a good understanding of IT packages including, Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel etc along with excellent attention to detail and administration skills.

You will be based at our Northallerton Office, working a combination of office and home days each week.
