Responsible Business Assistant

Our Client a Leading Law firm are seeking a Responsible Business Assistant role is part of a creative team that supports our Responsibility Business initiatives across the firm, particularly spearheading initiatives from our Liverpool office. They are looking for someone to complete an apprenticeship for this position, offering a salary of up to £23,000, working office based 4 days a week and one day studying.

You will be a part of the Talent team, which currently comprises 30 people split between Talent Resourcing, Talent Development and Talent Advisory functions. We operate a one-team approach, and you may be required to assist in other areas of the team, within the scope of your level and experience. You will primarily help to facilitate and organise activities and events that form the Responsible Business pillars which are: Community, Inclusion, Pro Bono, and The Arts.

This is not a routine office job; you will be working on multiple initiatives that touch upon several focus areas involving internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will be passionate about social and environmental change and strive to role model ethical behaviour and values. In addition, candidates will have to be organised, ambitious, willing to work outside of their comfort zone, and be detail-orientated while understanding the bigger picture.

What will you be doing?

They are seeking a passionate candidate to join the Responsible Business team. The role will involve the following:

  • Managing the RB inbox
  • Supporting the administration, delivery, development and reporting of the Responsible Business pillars and activity.
  • Providing administrative and project management support to other members of the team.
  • Working with partners and employees across the Firm on various initiatives.
  • Supporting relationships, the firm has with community partners.
  • Keep all trackers up to date, for charity donations and Matched Giving requests.
  • Preparation of reports and presentations.
  • Monitoring, measuring, and analysing data on pro bono and community impact and engagement.
  • Taking minutes at committee meetings.
  • Providing administrative support to organise sessions and events.

Qualification

You will be based in the Liverpool office. Throughout the apprenticeship program you will be working for four days per week and spend one day studying with the assigned tuition provider. By the end of your apprenticeship, you will have achieved the following qualification:

  • Business and administration apprenticeship (Level 3)
