Responsibilities:
- Build upon existing sustainability strategy and create new ESG agendas firm-wide. Reviewing and updating sustainability-related frameworks, policies and methodologies
- Create thought-leadership pieces through contributing to articles, market research and preparation for external speaking engagements and group initiatives
- Follow market trends and update the company on key ESG, sustainable investments, and corporate governance, and active ownership developments
- Engage with stakeholders, institutions, regulators, and investors on sustainability and climate-related issues as well working on advocacy projects and governance responsibilities
- Promoting recognition, initiatives and awareness for ESG issues and investment decisions across their institutional, retail and wholesale client base
- Undertake specific sustainability projects as required (e.g. materiality assessments, impact analysis, target-setting)
- Support the preparation of client proposals, pitch decks and other marketing material, ensuring a regular process is in place to keep a standard deck up-to-date
Experience required:
- Good understanding of sustainability and sustainable finance
- Experience in stakeholder management
- Strong research and analysis skills
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Good at multi-tasking, prioritising across a fluid worklist and forward planning
- Self-starter and able to work effectively in a remote team environment
- Willingness to learn, entrepreneurial, proactive and ‘can-do’ attitude
