About the position
The restaurant is a three-time British Kebab award winner. We are hiring a Manager to assist in driving up our sales and keeping costs low. The Manager should be serious , professional and trustworthy person. They will have to deal with staff, stock control, recruitment, deal with customers, deal with complaints and such things relevant to running a successful restaurant.
The base salary awarded is £35,000 per year with additional bonus, based on performance, up to £50,000 per year. The first three months is probationary and if successful you will be welcomed onto a contract with the bonus.
Responsibilities:
- Managing a small team of 8 to 12 people
- Ensure that all staff adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and address customer complaints.
- Ensure that the restaurant is clean and presentable at all times.
- Supervise special events and promotions.
- Stock control: make sure everything is always available
- Drive creativity and innovation, help upper management with creation of promotions to drive sales
- Greek language
Experience required:
At least a couple of years in a supervisor or higher role preferably in a Greek restaurant
