If yes, a fantastic opportunity is available for Retail Data Analyst to join our Productivity team at B&M, based at our Support Centre/Head Office in Speke, Liverpool L2.
This is a full time and permanent position and fully office based. (some weekend and evening reporting on a rota basis will be required)
It’s an exciting time to join us here at B&M. We are one of the UK’s fastest growing retailers with over 700 stores and plans for continued growth at a rate of 45 new stores per annum.
The Retail Analyst will be responsible for ensuring accurate and up to date people data, producing regular reports, analysis and evaluation of data and other management information as required to assist in the decision making.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Gather, organise, summarise and analyse data within prescribed time frames
- To collate and produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual data into complex reports and presentations in an easy to understand way
- Recommend corrective action when necessary, liaising with stakeholders to establish best process and procedures to deliver the correct information
- Be proficient with presentation making in a creative way and be able to use your creative side to facilitate business essential reporting
Experience/skills required:
- Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint/Excel skills as you will need to be confident to compose detailed reports
- Accuracy and focus for concise reporting as well as having a creative approach to problem solving
- Strong analytical & communication skills, able to question and challenge with stakeholders
- Time management in order to meet deadlines and display efficiency
- Someone who can work autonomously, taking responsibility for the role remit whilst possessing sound judgement to escalate when needed
