Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

The Role

As Retail Sales and Marketing Manager, you’ll lead on all aspects of marketing and Sales and support the team to deliver a consistently great customer experience for the benefit of the whole business.

Community is a huge focus for the company, and as a leader of marketing and sales you’ll create and develop important links within their fabulous local community.

Above all, you will be a commercial leader and lover of all things food, identifying new and innovative ways to market the business that will increase brand visibility and sales performance through their retail and digital channels.

Duties will include:
• Manage the online and offline promotional activity to support Sales and Marketing
• Support the team to deliver fantastic customer service
• You’ll create a positive and supportive working environment
• Build strong links within the local community to improve the company’s visibility and drive sales
• Be analytical and commercially focused to manage stock effectively and increase sales
• Be a role model to your team by taking pride in preparing, handling and presenting products to show them off to their best
• Be organised and efficient in managing the administrative tasks for your role
• React quickly and positively to changing priorities within in our retail environment

Skills and Experience

• Experience using a website CMS and increasing sales online
• Experience in producing engaging content (written and visual) and use social media and email marketing to promote products
• Previous retail or hospitality experience
• Value the importance of building relationships
• Inspiring and engaging
• Enjoy working shoulder to shoulder with your colleagues in the shop and working independently to drive online sales
• You’re a foodie at heart
