At 135 metres the world-famous London Eye is the UK’s most popular paid for visitor attraction, and we’ve got our Eye out for a Retail Team Leaderto join our dedicated team and help deliver the most moving experience in London!
We are looking for someone to manage a large team across multiple commercial areas round the London Eye, including delivering the day to day operation, meeting worldclass Guest Obsession standards and ensuring strict health and safety policies are adhered to at all times.
This role is fixed term until September 2024, working 5 days out of 7. The London Eye is open daily and so flexibility will be needed as shifts will include weekends and bank holidays.
Key Objectives:
- Own you craft by deliving and helping to develop the day to day operation of the department through strong team management and delegation.
- Demonstrate how much you care by actively monitoring and coaching the team to be Guest Obsessed, ensuring the department gives world class customer service to every single guest, every single day.
- Step up to protect the magic by monitoring working practices and environments, ensuring we work in a safe manner at all times, adhering to all health and safety policies.
- Enjoy the ride and champion of Team Obsession, following and living the principles of our department people commitment.
- Drive and discover the team to achieve departments commercial goals, achieving agreed sales performance targets.
- Fulfill first aid duties as per the attraction first aid rota alongside, but always as a priority over day to day role.
- Previous Team Leader experience within a busy fast paced retail environment
- Someone who has a clear passion for both guests and team members
- Willing to go above and beyond to ensure that the retail function stands out from the rest
- Can take responsibility, step up, and take the lead when the pressure’s on
