Form of workA specialist fine food wholesaler seeks a professional, food-obsessed Sales Account Manager to support their extensive client base among some of London’s top restaurants and hotels.
The role will cover a range of duties including customer support, sales, account management and providing support to the BDM and trying to secure new clients.
Due to the high-end nature of the product, the role will suit an individual who is familiar with high end food service or has a strong personal interest in gastronomy.
TYPE: Permanent, full-time
WORKING HOURS: 7:30am - 4:30pm
SALARY: £28,000 - £34,000

Sales Account Manager Main Responsibilities
- Provide an impeccable customer service to restaurant managers and Kitchen managers amongst London’s top hotel and restaurant kitchens
- Dealing with customers who will expect a top-quality customer service
- Manage sometime demanding questions relating to orders (cancellations, out of stock, delays etc) with tact, confidence, and eloquence
- Making calls to clients to provide updates on orders, stock availability and also promote daily promotions or deals
- Researching potential customer/clients menus and calling to suggest certain produce they might need
Sales Account Manager Ideal Candidate
- Foodie - strong interest in gastronomy and high-end food service would be a good fit
- Kitchen / restaurant background with strong customer support skills
- Some sales experience would be beneficial (telephone based)
- Energetic and able to work on the job and pick up new tasks quickly
