Our client is looking for a Sales Administrator to join a well-established team.  The vacancy is very varied supporting all administration. You will be liaising with clients, raising quotes and processing orders. You will have the opportunity to see projects through from start to finish, taking responsibility for quoting, processing orders and keeping customers up to date on progress. The role sits within a an extremely busy fast paced environment and is suitable for candidates with both strong administration and decision-making skills.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Receiving, logging and processing customer enquiries.
• Preparing customer quotations and processing orders.
• Following up quotations to make sure customers have everything they need for their project and to find out more.
• Responding to customer order progress requests and liaising with the production, purchasing and despatch teams as required.
• Work with other internal departments to ensure customer needs are met and accurate pricing is achieved, (e.g. technical, financial, production).
• Attend project/production meetings and communicate information to the rest of the team.
• Work closely with the despatch team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of orders.
• Project manage enquiries from order intake to delivery as required.

Knowledge & Experience

• Proficient in using ICT equipment and systems including Microsoft Office programmes, particularly Word and Excel.
• Strong team player, along with an ability to work on own initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, using all media.
• Demonstrate good time management skills.
• Flexibility to meet the expectation of our customers.
• Strong administration and commercial knowledge
