SalaryNewstaff Employment Services is recruiting for an experienced Sales Administrator on behalf of our client based in St Albans, Herts.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
The Role:
- Process sales orders and enquiries efficiently via phone, email, and online systems
- Ensure accuracy by checking data in orders, quotes, and invoices
- Processing orders and producing paperwork for shipment in a timely manner
- Liaise with customers to clarify information, answer questions, and resolve any issues
- Maintain and update customer and sales records in a CRM system
- Provide administrative support to the engineering team, such as scheduling and stock control
- Liaise with couriers, obtaining quotes and arranging shipments both nationally and internationally
- Working with the bookkeeper to ensure customer and supplier payments are made and up to date
- Stay up to date on company products and services
- Ensure suitable stock and office supplies are ordered
Qualifications:
- GCSE/O level educated as a minimum, A level preferred however a degree in business administration, or a related field is advantageous
- Proven experience with CRM software and MS Office Suite
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive and resourceful problem-solving skills
- Positive and professional demeaner
- Adaptability
- Able to work on own initiative
Advantageous skills: (Not essential)
- Experience on the filtration industry
- Experience with Cin7 software
- Experience of international shipping of goods
Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm
